Apotheos Duo, featuring pianist Wenjing Liu and saxophonist John Hallberg. The members met each other at the University of Iowa and they moved to Los Angeles together. They share a common interest in chamber music. The duo’s diverse repertoire includes transcriptions and newly commissioned works. Their goals are to explore and extend music for piano and saxophone by performing across the United States and abroad. The duo gave their debut performance in 2015 at Carnegie Hall. In 2016, they gave a concert tour in China.
